Leadership Style (3) : Delegative (free reign) PhotoHi you guys, still with me?

Let’s talk about the third style of leadership.
In this style, the leader prefers allowing his employees to make the decisions while saying “You two take care of the problem while I am. . . “
Nevertheless, the leader still takes responsibilities of the decisions that are made. This style is commonly used by the time the employees are given an authority and able to analyze the situation and determine what needs to be done and how to do it with or without the leader’s instruction and monitor.
This is as a matter of fact a perfect leadership style. Leaders, you cannot do everything by yourselves, hence you must set priorities and delegate certain tasks to entrusted employees you have. This is not a style to use when things are going out of expectation and you blame others meanwhile they just follow and try to accomplish tasks you give. This is a style to be implemented when you the leader are fully trustable and confidence in the people under your command. Just keep in mind not to be afraid to use this style, on the other hands, use it as wise as possible.
There is also no need to be afraid that the employee you delegate will turn to blame you; as long as you are at the top position, they could just sigh and hardly talk about any obstacles they meet during the delegation. It is common; however, it is your time to return things in balance.

Welcome Back…
We are going to talk the second style of Leadership that is commonly called Participative (democratic) Leadership Style.
In this style, the leaders generally say ‘Let’s work together to solve this. . .’ in which it means that the leaders involve or the leaders include one or more employees in the decision making process (to determine what to do and how to do it). Nevertheless, the leaders are still supposed to maintain the authority of final decision making. Using this style is actually not a sign of weaknesses; it is rather as a sign of strength that will influence to your employees to respect you more.
Leadership Style (2) : Participative (democratic) PhotoThe style is normally used when you don’t have complete parts of the information, and your employees have other parts. In this case, the leaders and the employees are to gather the whole information as complete. It is needed to be noted that a leader is not required to know everything — this is why the leaders employ skillful and knowledgeable employees. Using this style is as a matter of fact rather to mutual benefit — it allows every segment to become part of the team and allows the leaders to make better conclusion which will end up in the best decision to make.
