The foreign exchange students studied the language and the culture of the country they are visiting and therefore have the ability to communicate with their host family. So they will also know the tribe, religion, status and behaviour of people they visit.

The idea of being a foreign exchange student always excites me. I've never been one but I've seen at airports families taking in kids from different cultures and countries. It must be both fun and endearing. When the time is right and I've got kids, hopefully he can be one. I'll make sure that my kid is backed up by good worldly views and ideas so that there won't be any hardships with conversation. Personally, the best way i see fit for this to happen is by writing and keeping tabs of his travels at the same time. I won't mind letting my kid go through a special writing course to make it creative and fun for them. My kid would enjoy letting his voice be heard through the beauty of words. It doesn't have to be his biggest point, but at least if he can manipulate them and string them well, no one will be having a hard time conversing with him, and all ideas will flow.

Foreign exchange students have great chances of studying and learning about the culture of the country they visit. They can gain more knowledge about different cultures in different countries.

Hosting a foreign exchange student can be a rewarding experience that creates friendships that last a lifetime. As a foreign language teacher, I can attest to the tremendous impact contact with other cultures has on my own students, sometimes a lifechanging impact. Along with reexamining your own life, you may find yourself reexamining your views on the world after having an exchange student.
